Car rental rates for late August and September have been slashed for Spain. A Ford Ka with a/c at Palma airport in Majorca on 29 Aug. that was previously in the region of 270 euros is now available for around 139 euros. The same car at Alicante for 07 days in mid-September is around £90. These are huge reductions and very welcome given the very high rates for peak season car hire in Spain this summer and last.
