UK licences..
For years now rental companies have accepted all versions of the UK driving licence. That is the current two-part photo-licence, the previous pink document and even the old green licence (yes, some people do still have them!). However some rental companies have indicated that they are to stop accepting all older versions of the UK licence and that they will only accept the current two-part photo-licence. Currently only a few rental companies have announced this action but typically what one or two companies do today, the rest follow very quickly. If you have a pink or green licence we suggest that you have it up-dated before you next hire a car. Please remember that when you have the modern photo-licence, you need both parts with you when you collect your rental cars.
