Times may be hard at the moment but the low-cost airlines are doing their best to make things brighter for 2009. Easyjet have just announced new summer routes from Gatwick to Santorini, Naples, Dubrovnik and Larnaca and from East Midlands to Nice. This is in addition to the recent new route from Gatwick to Copenhagen. More information and booking at www.easyjet.com. In our post of 20th November titles ‘Post-WTM News’ we relayed the news that a number of Spanish car rental companies had announced that they would be implementing a local charge forĀ collecting rental cars at airports. Along with many other UK agents and brokers, we expressed our dismay at this new charge.
